I travel here quite a bit and have eaten at many of the local, chain and hotel restaurants and am always, always disappointed.
However, Toro Bravo saves the day and is one of the best restaurants in this area. I've always had great service, food and drinks atand this is a hidden treasure for me. Living in Arizona, this restaurant passes my Mexican food taste-test. -

Have eaten here several times
And lately the service and food have gone down hill
We sat at the bar and ordered a few beers
They were nice and cold but bartender she has no personality
We than ordered food an appetizer and entrees
They brought our food before bringing the appetizer when we questioned this the bartender spoke in Spanish to her manager and caught an attitude
Nothing was done about this no I am sorry this happened nothing at all
We would come here on a regular basis but after the last two times of service issues we wont be back
There food is good but they need to work on customer service

Service was good. Smelled like rotting fruit when we first came in, unfortunately we were sat by the door so we had to smell the fruit the whole time. Food was mediocre. Portions were small compared to price, and most entrees did not come with a side (rice/beans). We received chips & salsa almost immediately upon being seated and food came out in less than 10 minutes.
Service - 4 stars
Food - 2 stars -

We wanted to try this place after driving past here several times. We arrived at lunchtime 12:30 and they were fairly busy. No one was at the Hostess Stand, we waited about 5 minutes before a Female arrived and seated us. She wasn't welcoming at all, she just asked us how many and seated us, placed the Menus on the table and left! SMH really!? Customer Service is a dying service. (Instead she should of said, Welcome I'm sorry for your wait, seat us and tell us our Waiter will be right with us!) Anyway, our Server came over after a while and greeted us but didn't give her name which I saw on the receipt was Martiza. She was polite and attentive. The food was just ok nothing that will have me coming back. My Son had to return his Burrito because it was lukewarm. Don't think I will be returning.

Located in the plaza across from the Royal Farms, this is a great Mexican place for lunch or dinner. Service was good and the food was very tasty.
